What Everyone's Saying

Customers find the boba pearls perfectly chewy and easy to prepare, with one mentioning they're great for making authentic Boba. The product comes in colorful confetti colors and offers good value for money. While the pearls cook up well, some customers report issues with sturdiness, with one mentioning they disintegrate if the water is too hot.

Recent User Experience

This was the first type of boba pearls I ever tried to make and I had so much fun with them. I kept them in the fridge once opened, but eventually had to move them to the freezer because I didn't eat them fast enough. They seemed to cook up good for the most part but eventually fuse together and got freezer burn or something and started tasting wonky (I think it was my freezer, the ice was also funky) and i had to eventually toss half a bag of each. Some time later I reordered but ended up going through even less of the bags 😅. They're delicious and I made them just fine from freezer or fresh, but they've been in my freezer for a year now and... well I just don't think I use enough boba to justify getting these ones again. I'll look for smaller packages since this is an occasional treat for me not a regular meal.On that note, the pearls are filling and chewy, and yes don't refrigerate after cooking unless you don't mind a more solid center. From the freezer I would boil these for about fifteen to thirty minutes depending on my mood and how chewy i wanted them, drain and add hot to a bowl immediately with a spoonful of sugar and use the heat from the cooked pearls and the residual moisture to melt the sugar and coat them in a simple syrup. I imagine they would taste even better if I had used brown sugar as recommended, but though I kept meaning to get some I always got side tracked. They tasted pretty good, and I'll admit to having eaten them by the spoonful a time or two.
