What Everyone's Saying

Customers find these shrimp chips easy to cook, taking about 10 seconds to fry, and appreciate their great texture and crunchiness. Moreover, the chips are versatile, working well with Nori Fume Furikake Rice Seasoning, and customers consider them good value for money. However, the taste receives mixed reactions, with some finding them delicious while others say they're not the best tasting.

Recent User Experience

I can't say I've met a shrimp chip I haven't liked, and these are no exception- Light, crispy, fry up big.Don't be afraid to try it! Just heat a few inches of fry oil, and test one- when it puffs up, use tongs to take it out! If they are too brown, lower the heat or pull them out faster. They fry in seconds, so it will take just a few minutes to cook up one entire box.If you miss shrimp chips you've had in Asian food (sometimes as garnish in Chinese or Thai food, or in gado gado), and live far from any Asian Market, I really suggest giving this product a try- I ALMOST bought ready-to-eat chips on Amazon, which is so expensive and requires too much packaging. (I also like to buy uncooked chips when I travel in Asia too, because they are easy to carry! A very fun souvenir from Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, etc.)I included a photo of the before and after chip size, and you can see the 1 package of chips yield a big freezer bag of chips (plus some because I ate a few already hahaha) Sorry for the poor photo quality, I also over-cooked them a little bit.I can't say much about price, I thought it was fair for buying it in USA- I think the quality of these is also quite high (kind of like a gift, in a nice box and not too many broken pieces). If you are from Asia, you are probably shocked, hahaha. I just hope my review encourages more people to try making shrimp chips at home, because it's FUN!
