This is my go to for a quick hot meal. Prep is easy and the sauce is always so tasty. To me it’s a medium spice and I add some chili oil to kick the spice up but I really love spicy food. The sauce goes well with a lot of things so I have gotten creative with what I add to it. Different ground meats (bison has been my favorite) nappa cabbage, broccoli, onion, peas, carrots, spinach, green beans… they all go well with the sauce. I use soft tofu for my mabo tofu and it always comes out perfect.
