Edit: Funny thing: after years without issue, I realized a stale bottle made its way to me shortly after writing this. Now I know to break the plastic seal, remove the cap and check the paper seal on top of the bottle, upon receipt. Did not come from Amazon - but could have happened to any retailer, especially the ones who buy out stock from other sources (Amazon, W**** - or any "3rd party Seller").JFC or JBasket sesame seeds have excellent flavor. They are always fresh - out of the dozens of bottles I've purchased over the years - not one has been stale. If you enjoy sesame seeds, these have the aroma, flavor and that lovely little crunch, every time. The 8 oz size is also a good size to have on hand.
