We LOVE this soup! It is as good as any Japanese restaurant. We add to it whatever we want and thicken it up a bit with extra mushrooms, a little miso, scallions, fried onions, (the kind that is dried and in a French's container). Great stuff. Add soy sauce and it is the best. I'll teach outdoors all day and make a bunch of it in a huge thermos, and it keeps me going!
