Recent User Experience

Love this soup but here are a few tricks to make this soup one of the best you have eaten: 1. Instead of adding 2 1/2 cups of water to the packet, I use 1/2 cup water and 2 cups of Swanson's chicken broth or my fav College Inn chicken bone broth - both available on Amazon (College Inn had the highest rating of all chicken stocks on America's Test Kitchen and it is sooo rich and flavorful. 2. Add some extra chunks of chicken. 3. When you add the well beaten egg to the boiling soup, stir the soup so that is moving in a circle and gently drizzle the egg. That way it will set up in lengthy strings of egg which is more aesthetically pleasing vs. chunks of egg if you just dump in the egg. Note that this soup is not super hot/spicy which is fine with me as the subtle flavors come through but if you like a spicier soup just had red pepper or tobasco or Chinese hot pepper oil. It is the best packaged soup I have ever enjoyed. So comforting on a rainy day and SO easy to make. You won't be disappointed! I just ordered 12 more packages to keep on hand.
