I can't say the one for fish is more tasty, I guess it is meant to be ideal for seafood but any difference is not clear. Maybe if I grew up in India I would notice a difference. General purpose curry powder works fine for seafoods too. This is fresh tasting and medium heat. I would not hesitate to use this for any curry dishes with any meat or meatless dishes. It is a bit strong without some coconut cream to balance it.Transfer to a small glass jar to retain the most freshness.
