I had bought one of these chairs at a rummage sale a few years ago. My 96- and 94-year-old parents were living with me and I could see the writing on the wall concerning their mobility though neither of them wanted the chair for their self. For $25. I had nothing to lose if neither never used it. That chair was the best investment that I have ever made and it added quality to their lives. Fortunately, they didn't need it at the same time. We found ourselves saying it was the best $25. that we ever spent. Because of that chair when my uncle woke up one day not being able to walk and could only crawl we bought the Medline Lightweight Foldable Transport Wheelchair and had it sent to him.His wife had borrowed a heavy loaner wheelchair so she could take my uncle to his many doctor appointments. Loading that heavy wheelchair in and out of her car was killing her back. She cried of joy when she received the transport chair. It made their life so much better.My sister, severely hurt her knee. She and her family had plans and reservations to visit Washington D.C. with her on crutches. I had this transport chair sent to her house in S.C. in time for their trip. She wouldn't have made it 1/2 day on her crutches. The transport chair saved their vacation. It was easy to put in their trunk, then to take it on the train and then touring D.C. My brother-in-law said one day he pushed her around for 11 miles in the chair.I can't say enough about that transport chair. It's comfort, stability, its light weight, its just a life saver for the one who is pushing it and adds quality to the users life.
