This is actually my all time favorite in many cases (Chorizo and eggs, burritos, etc). It looks like Taco Bell sauce and there is a reason. This was a small Mexican company and Taco Bell bought the right to the recipe and the took pretty much all the hot out for American pallets.I surmise there was a time limit before they could sell in the US the original (although this has been here a decade or more).This is the original and they have "Taco Sauce" (about equal to Taco Bell hot) and "Hot Sauce" which is actually fairly hot but not a barn burner. You won't win a "my sauce is hotter than yours contest" -- but you will get great flavor. I used to like the hotter the better but Dave's Insanity sauce cured that (too hot to eat).So if you don't really like hot -- get the Taco Sauce, if you like a little heat, take this one. Yes it looks like Taco Bell -- it is not, and is much better.
