Recent User Experience

What I'm going to say might sound crazy but here goes.I bought a bag of this exact brand a year or two ago because I had read or heard that Turmeric was good for you. Can't remember the list of benefits now, but whatever it was, it sounded good. Found it here on Amazon and started incorporating it into my diet. Finally used up the whole bag at a very slow pace and ordered another bag recently. Ramped up the use of Turmeric in my diet with the second bag....not every day but maybe a couple of times a week. Using it liberally in whatever recipes that would work flavor-wise.Happened to need an eye exam a few weeks ago and went to a local optical store for new contact lenses. After decades of being -2.25 or -2.5, suddenly I'm at -1.5.!!! The person giving me the eye exam was a little taken aback, as was I. At the time I hadn't made the turmeric connection. She was at a loss to explain such a change. Finally she suggested the possibility of being misdiagnosed for all those years, despite the fact that I had been getting annual eye exams from lots of different optician.Came home and googled something (can't remember what) that made me think IT HAS TO BE THE TURMERIC! There are other accounts of eyesight improvement that I have since read, but I had NO IDEA at the time that turmeric could help my eyesight. (I was thinking illness prevention, antioxidants, etc.)The improvement in my eyesight has made a big difference in my life. At -2.5 or -2.25 contact lenses, I had to wear reading glasses to read and see things up close when my contacts were in to offset the distortion caused by the contacts. But now, at -1.5, I really don't need the reading glasses. I can see everything on my phone, etc without the glasses, and many times when I'm home reading online I can see better without the reading glasses than with them. To have broken the need for reading glasses (when my contact lenses are in) is a huge improvement. If the turmeric did this, and I firmly believe it did, then I'd say that's really something.I do like the spice in it's own right also. I work it into my Bruschetta mix...casseroles/baking dishes.....soups.....whatever. Rarely if ever is it a detriment in terms of flavor.I do believe I experience other favorable effects like just feeling better in general since I've been adding turmeric more frequently to my diet. I bought a shaker for it (like a powdered sugar shaker) here on Amazon for a few dollars. I just keep it by the stove near the salt and pepper and use it all the time.In summary: Great product! Great spice! Great Price! And Thanks to Amazon for bringing us all of these great products and making them so easy to obtain.
